ESET Server Solutions v3.0.11 for BSD, Linux and Solaris has been released

ESET Server Solutions v3.0.11 for BSD, Linux and Solaris has been released. This release contains three components:

ESET File Security - protects file servers from malware (formerly known as NOD32 for Linux File Servers)
ESET Mail Security - protects mail servers from malware (formerly known as NOD32 for Linux Mail Servers)
ESET Gateway Security - checks http and ftp streams for malware

One binary file will perform any combination of these features based on appropriate licensing. All programs have a web interface for management and can be managed with ESET Remote Administrator v3.x.

ESET SERVER SOLUTIONS (all)

  • support for FreeBSD v7
  • added system dependencies into 64-bit rpm packages
  • fixed listing of network interfaces with unknown addresses
  • esets_daemon - fixed license issue for ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition
  • esets_daemon - continuing even after failed first-time anti-spam modules update
  • esets_daemon - fixed startup with only expired licenses
  • esets_inst - improved compatibility with qmail
  • esets_quar - fixed sending and listing of samples
  • esets_quar - added new option: –list-fmt
  • esets_quar - supports separate quarantine for all users
  • esets_wwwi - quarantine support
  • esets_wwwi - updated PHP to 5.2.8

ESET FILE SECURITY

  • esets_scan - added support for ADS scanning
  • esets_scan - added activity indicator for output to pipe and files

ESET GATEWAY SECURITY

  • esets_ssfi - added man page
  • esets_http - fixed URL blocking cache
  • esets_icap - fixed URL blocking cache

ESET MAIL SECURITY

  • esets_cgp - added filter for CommuniGate Pro
