ESET, the leader in proactive protection celebrating 25 years of its technology this year, has in recent weeks received a string of accolades and impressive test results - including high mark for its server product for Windows (VB100) and highest Advanced+ mark in performance test (AV Comparatives).
On top of the positive showing, ESET received the record-breaking 74th “VB100” award from Virus Bulletin - UK’s independent antivirus testing authority. In addition, ESET Smart Security 5 earned the highest possible mark, "Advanced+" in AV-Comparatives’ testing, achieving 87 percent heuristic detection and heuristic / behavioral protection. What’s more, ESET had only “very few” false alarms, a result achieved by only one other vendor.
In another test, ESET’s flagship endpoint solution for business - ESET Endpoint Security - has secured the best overall rating in PassMark Software test. In its latest report “Fast and Effective Endpoint Security for Business 2012” commissioned by ESET, the solution was evaluated as having “fastest, best overall performance” - earning the highest rating and excelling in several performance and usability categories.
